Viewing Carrier Details
Carrier information will be extracted from uploaded documents as part of TrustLayer's existing automatic extraction process. When the document is finished processing, any detected carriers, NAIC numbers, and policy numbers will be associated to the Requirement Group card for the linked line of coverage. To see carrier information for an uploaded doc, follow the steps below:
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Find the Party you'd like to view Carrier information for, then click on the Party Name.
3 Click on the Documents tab
4 Find and click on the Document Name you'd like to review carrier information for. This will take you to the Document Review page.
5 To see carrier details on this page, you can click the Carrier Name link and flip the Requirement Group card.
6 With the Requirement Group card flipped, you can view and change details such as the Carrier/NAIC, Policy Number, as well as add Additional Information.
Viewing AM Best Details
The AM Best Rating information will populate based on the carrier information that was extracted from the document or manually added during the document review process. To see AM Best rating information, follow the steps below:
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Find the Party you'd like to view the AM Best details for, then click on the Party Name.
3 Click on the Compliance tab.
4 On each Requirement Group you can view the Carrier Name, NAIC Number, Policy Number, and AM Best rating.
5 Click directly on the AM Best Rating to see additional details about the rating.
6 If compliance was satisfied using multiple documents, you can click the dropdown on the Document Selector and view the Carrier and AM Best information found in that document.

Manually Adding and Associating a Carrier to a Compliance Requirement Group
In some cases, you may want to manually add an insurance carrier. To manually add a carrier:
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Find the Party you'd like to make changes to, then click the Active Docs link to take you to the Document Review page.
3 If there's more than one active document, select the document you'd like to make changes to by choosing from the Active section on the left side of the screen.
4 Click the Pencil icon
5 Next, click the Insurance Information tab
6 Click the + Add New Carrier. Then, enter the NAIC # and Carrier Name in the spaces provided.
NOTE: If your carrier doesn't have an NAIC number, you can add by name only.
7 Click the blue Add button towards the bottom right.
8 Close the Insurance Information tab by clicking the Close button at the bottom right.
9 Find the Requirement Group (Line of Coverage) that you need to add the carrier you created to.
10 Click the Carrier Name link or select Add Carrier, Policy Number, Additional Information option if no carrier is currently associated.
11 Select the carrier you created from the Carrier/NAIC dropdown.
12 Click the Save button located at the top right of the Requirement Group section.

Viewing AM Best Rating as a Compliance Requirement on Party Profile
You have the ability to also add AM Best Rating and Financial Strength Indicator as Requirements within a Compliance Profile. See our How To article for more details.
Once added, you're able view whether or not a Party is compliant by following the steps below to navigate to the Compliance tab of the Party Profile page:
1 Using the sidebar menu located on the left side of the screen, click Parties.
2 Search and select the Party you'd like to view by clicking on the Party Name.
3 Click on the Compliance tab.
4 Under each Requirement Group (Line of Coverage) you can see the AM Best Rating and Financial Strength indicators at the top of the list of Requirements.
5 If the AM Best Rating and Financial Strength indicators are non-compliant, you'll notice an Alert Symbol next to all other Requirements indicating non-compliance for everything because the rating and financial strength aren't high enough.
